As corporate counsel for mortgage lender, Railroadmen’s Federal Savings and Loan, of Indianapolis, IN., he gained an inside perspective on mortgage lending and foreclosures. Mr. Fougerousse is presently representing borrowers going through foreclosure and has mediated approximately 300 mortgage foreclosures.
TRANSACTIONS AND TITLE INSURANCE
When he first moved to Brevard County, he worked as corporate counsel for developer Charles Nelson, founder of Suntree. He provided legal counsel on new construction projects and assisted as title insurance attorney to Mr. Nelson.
Mr. Fougerousse has served as corporate counsel for the Melbourne Area Board of Realtors where he attained a working knowledge of the duties of real estate agents and how real estate transactions are conducted.
